The First Anthology Star Wars Customizable Card Game was released May 1997.
Each set contained two white-bordered Premiere starter decks, two A New Hope expansion packs, two Hoth expansion packs, and the 11-card premium Jedi Pack. Six white-bordered preview cards were included:
- Commander Wedge Antilles
- Boba Fett
- Jabba's Influence
- X-Wing Assault Squadron
- Hit and Run
- Death Star Assault Squadron
All six cards were later reprinted as black-bordered cards in the Special Edition set.
The Official Digital Toolset for Dungeons & Dragons The First Anthology was released in a long, 800-count card box that was completely black, with the Star Wars Customizable Card Game logo on the lid.
